EL PASO COUNTY: Volunteers Needed for El Paso Juvenile Community Review Board

El Paso County issued the following announcement on Dec. 21.

The Board of El Paso County Commissioners is seeking a community-minded member of the El Paso County Bar Association to serve on the El Paso County Juvenile Community Review Board. Applications are due by January 18, 2021.

The El Paso County Juvenile Community Review Board reviews case files of juveniles and makes decisions regarding residential community placement. The Board consists of 11 members. Nine members are nominated for indefinite terms and two community-at-large members are appointed by the Board of County Commissioners for three-year terms.

Board meetings are held on the second and fourth Thursday of the month at 1:30 p.m. in the Russel Professional Building, 105 E. Vermijo Ave., Colorado Springs, CO.

The Juvenile Community Review Board is currently seeking one new El Paso County Bar Association representative.
