Iran has launched a significant ballistic missile attack targeting Israel, marking the largest such offensive in its history. Despite the scale of the attack, numerous munitions were intercepted successfully.

Congressman Doug Lamborn, representing Colorado's 5th district and serving as Co-Chair of the Israel Allies Caucus and Chairman of the Strategic Forces Subcommittee of the House Armed Services Committee, addressed this incident with a formal statement.

"Today's attack by Iran represents another escalation in its aggressive campaign against our ally, Israel," Congressman Lamborn stated. He expressed relief that "the Israeli Defense Forces successfully intercepted so many of the incoming munitions." Lamborn praised both the IDF and Prime Minister Netanyahu for their efforts to protect Israeli citizens.

As an advocate for Israel, Lamborn emphasized his commitment to ensuring that Israel maintains a robust air defense system. "Our unwavering support for our great ally, Israel, remains steadfast and unbreakable," he declared. The congressman also noted his intention to continue monitoring developments in the Middle East closely.
