Shanks Dominates Game One, Roadrunners Rally Late in Game Two to Split Day One With Skyhawks
DENVER, Colo. – Throwing her eighth complete game of the season, Amiee Shanks held down the Metropolitan State University of Denver in game one en route to a 4-1 victory, but the Roadrunners offense rallied late in game two, winning a 9-7 decision and forcing a split through the first pair of a four-game Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference series.
