UCCS Mountain Lions defeat Regis Rangers 8-6 as Andrew Boyarko pitches in Division II matchup

On Tuesday, March 3, at 2 p.m., UCCS Mountain Lions, featuring former Lewis-Palmer High School standout Andrew Boyarko, secured an 8-6 victory over the Regis Rangers in an NCAA Division II baseball contest.

The matchup was held at Regis Baseball Field and marked the teams’ first meeting of the season.

Boyarko took the mound for 1.2 innings, tallying two walks and two strikeouts.

The Mountain Lions are set to play their next game Thursday, March 5, at 11 a.m. against Colorado Christian Cougars at All Star Park.
