Three Air Force football players earn CSC Academic All-District honors

Air Force Academy football players Ty Hubert, Reagan Tubbs, and Matt Long have been named to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District team for the 2025 season. The announcement was made by the organization on January 6, 2026.

This is the first time each of these athletes has received this recognition. Ty Hubert, a senior linebacker, holds a 3.945 grade point average and majors in aeronautical engineering. Senior place kicker Reagan Tubbs has a 3.735 GPA and majors in engineering. Sophomore wide receiver Matt Long is majoring in management with a 3.511 GPA.

According to the CSC’s eligibility requirements, student-athletes must be at least sophomores academically, maintain a cumulative GPA of at least 3.5 on a 4.0 scale, and participate in at least 90 percent of their team’s games or start in at least two-thirds of matches to qualify for Academic All-District honors.
