Of the 722,736 citizens living in El Paso County in 2021, 76% were old enough to vote, equating to 549,316 individuals, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained on Oct. 26.

Further breakdown reveals that of the voting-eligible population, 277,883 were male, constituting 50.6%, and 271,433 were female, making up 49.4%.

The percentage of citizens old enough to vote in El Paso County during 2021 was lower than the state average, which stands at 77.9%.
