COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Colorado State senior Davis Bryant has been named the Mountain West Men’s Golfer of the Week, while San José State’s Kajsa Arwefjäll is the MW Women’s Golfer of the Week.
This is the sixth weekly/monthly Conference honor for Arwefjäll and third for Bryant.
MEN’S GOLFER OF THE WEEK
DAVIS BRYANT, COLORADO STATE
Senior, Aurora, Colorado / Eaglecrest HS
- Competing at the National Invitational Tournament at Omni Tucson National Resort, finished in a tie for fourth place, carding a nine-under 2017.
- Finished ahead of 17 top-100 Golfstat golfers, including seven in the top 25.
- Shot under par in all three rounds, improving by one stroke each time (70-69-68).
KAJSA ARWEFJALL, SAN JOSÉ STATE
Senior, Hollviken, Sweden / Sundsgymnasiet
- Finished tied for ninth at the MountainView Collegiate, shooting eight-under par (208) and recording second-consecutive top-10 finish.
- Carded rounds of 71-67-70.
- During the 54-hold tournament, registered 15 birdies.
