Colorado College went into the locker room at halftime down by one, but a second-half surge proved too much for the Tigers in their 15-10 loss to Wooster College on Saturday afternoon at Washburn Field.

Charlie Faldi's goal from Thomas Power at 8:12 gave the Tigers a 1-0 lead, the only lead for CC all game.

The Tigers and the Fighting Scots traded goals in the first half, and CC had a one goal deficit, 7-6, at the half.

Wooster capitalized on man-up opportunities in the second half to build an advantage the Tigers could not overcome.

Declan Maguire scored back-to-back goals at 12:31 and 11:23 to cut the Scots lead to two, but four unanswered goals by Wooster secured the victory over CC.

Colorado College finished with the 36-33 advantage in shots while Wooster had the 23-21 advantage in on-target marks.

Colorado College won the face-off battle 18-11 and had a 31-30 edge in ground balls.
