Freshmen Josh Williams and Rabbit Barnes highlighted the Colorado College men's track and field team Saturday at the Dr. Dan Caprioglio Early Bird Meet in Pueblo, Colo.

Williams set a school record in the 200-meter dash, finishing with a time of 21.71 seconds, surpassing the previous mark of 22.18, set by Mike Reed in 2002. Williams finished third in the race, and also placed third in the 100 with a time of 10.96 seconds.

Barnes, meanwhile, won the 800 on Saturday in a time of 1:54.18. He also anchored CC's 4x400 relay team, also consisting of Williams, Ethan Castette and Aidan Santos, that finished fourth. Williams also joined Kyle Sun, Holden Perry and Asher Todd-Tarady on the third place 4x100 relay squad.

Other top 10 finishers for the Tigers included Leighton Graham, who placed fifth in the shot put with a throw of 44' 4", and James Settles, who finished sixth in the 1500 (4:01.67).

The Tigers return to action on Sunday, April 2, to host Gustavus Adolphus in a dual meet at Washburn Field.
