COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – San José State junior Robert Hamchuk has earned Mountain West Baseball Player of the Week honors, while Fresno State senior Roman Angelo is the MW Baseball Pitcher of the Week.

ROBERT HAMCHUK, SAN JOSÉ STATE
Junior, San Jose, California/Leigh HS
- Led San José State to a 2-1 record last week with wins over San Francisco and at San Diego.
- Batted .500 with eight hits, including four extra-base hits, five RBIs and one walk.
- Recorded a .875 slugging percentage and .529 on-base percentage.
ROMAN ANGELO, FRESNO STATE
Senior, Bakersfield, California/Bakersfield Christian HS
- Made starts against Pacific and Nevada last week, earning the win over the Wolf Pack.
- Tossed 7.2 scoreless innings, limiting opponents to just four hits and striking out 10 batters.
- Matched career-high seven strikeouts against Nevada.
