A total of four Mountain West men’s and women’s programs are ranked in the NCAA Division I Cross Country polls, released Tuesday by the U.S. Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA).
On the women’s side, the 2022 Mountain West champions New Mexico remains No. 2 in the national poll with 316 points. The Lobos won the program’s 15th-straight Conference title. Joining the Lobos in the coaches poll is Colorado State at No. 20 with 121 points. Additionally, Air Force, Boise State, Utah State and Wyoming are receiving votes in the women’s coaches poll.
In the men’s poll, the 2022 MW champions Air Force remain No. 5 with 285 points. The Falcons won the program’s third-consecutive league title. Colorado State is tied for 28th in the coaches poll with 36 points. Additionally, Utah State is receiving votes.
