15 percent of applicants to Colorado College were admitted for fall 2018

At Colorado College, 99 percent of undergraduate students are traditional students - age 24 or younger - and 55 percent are female, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year private not-for-profit institution in Colorado Springs enrolled 2,144 students in fall 2018, including 2,114 in undergraduate and 30 in graduate programs, data shows. 1.6 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

13 percent of undergraduates are residents of Colorado, and 77 percent are residents of other states. 9 percent are citizens of foreign countries.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as white (65 percent) and Hispanic or Latino (9 percent).

The school admitted 15 percent of the 8,552 students who applied for fall 2018. Of those who were admitted, 42 percent enrolled.
