Rep. Jeff Crank, U.S. Representative for Colorado’s 5th Congressional District, has shared updates on his recent engagements in Colorado Springs through a series of social media posts.

On February 19, 2026, Crank highlighted his visit with the House Committee on Veterans’ Affairs to the Mt. Carmel Veterans Service Center, stating, “Yesterday, we ended our day with @HouseVetAffairs with a visit to the Mt. Carmel Veterans Service Center. It was uplifting to see how they support our veteran community here in #CO05.

As a son of a World War II Navy veteran, and a father-in-law to a soldier serving our country,” (posted February 19, 2026).

Later that day, Crank posted about discussions held with Rep. Scott DesJarlais of Tennessee’s 4th district and Chairman of the House Armed Services Subcommittee on Strategic Forces. In his message, he wrote, “Great spending time here in #CO05 with my colleague @DesJarlaisTN04, Chairman of the @HASCRepublicans Subcommittee on Strategic Forces.

We discussed how Colorado Springs’ small-business defense economy is delivering cutting-edge tools to the warfighter faster and at lower” (posted February 19, 2026).

The following day, Crank met with Director Tom Lathrop at the Colorado Springs Senior Center. He posted: “Met with Director Tom Lathrop and some other friendly faces at the Colorado Springs Senior Center today.

Thank you for the opportunity and warm welcome in showing us the Center and its positive impact on our community. #CO05″ (posted February 20, 2026).

Colorado’s Fifth Congressional District includes much of El Paso County and Colorado Springs. The region is home to several military installations such as Fort Carson and Peterson Space Force Base and features a robust defense industry supported by local small businesses.

Mt. Carmel Veterans Service Center provides health services, transition assistance programs, and resources for veterans in southern Colorado. The Colorado Springs Senior Center offers various programs aimed at enhancing quality of life for older adults in the area.
