In a post commemorating Ronald Reagan’s birthday, Rep. Crank wrote: “Happy Birthday, President Ronald Reagan! The legacy President Reagan left behind of leadership and service continues to inspire many generations.” (February 6, 2026)

Shortly after, he addressed Rep. Jeff Hurd in another message: “Hey @RepJeffHurd – you left your belt at TSA at the Colorado Springs Airport. Such a “waist” of my time but I grabbed it for you.” (February 6, 2026)

Later that day, Rep. Crank highlighted his conversation with Mark Hille regarding community support for USAFA: “Had the chance to chat with Mark Hille—one of the strongest advocates for USAFA in our community. We discussed supporting key infrastructure improvements at the Academy and how to deliver projects faster while staying on budget.” (February 6, 2026)

The United States Air Force Academy is located in Colorado Springs and plays an important role in training future officers for the U.S. Air Force and Space Force. Infrastructure upgrades have been an ongoing focus for local leaders aiming to maintain high standards at military institutions.
