Rep. Jeff Crank, U.S. Congressman representing Colorado’s Fifth Congressional District, addressed recent events affecting the Jewish community through a series of posts on his official X account.

On December 14, 2025, Rep. Crank responded to reports of violence in Australia by stating, “I am horrified by the tragic news of the targeted terrorist attack on the Jewish community in Australia on the first night of Hanukkah. Antisemitism is disgusting and vile – it has no place in society. I will be praying for the victims and their families. No one should ever”.

Two days later, he extended holiday wishes to constituents and others observing Hanukkah: “Wishing a peaceful Hanukkah to all who celebrate in Colorado’s Fifth Congressional District and across the nation.” This message was posted on December 15, 2025.

That same day, Rep. Crank also shared a link for further reading with a brief post: “Read more here: https://t.co/UGgVZqqeFa”.

These statements come amid ongoing concerns about antisemitic incidents globally and reflect broader efforts by public officials to condemn hate crimes and express solidarity with affected communities.
