Northern Michigan Wildcats, featuring former Woodland Park High School player Isabella Slocum, were defeated 77-61 by the Wayne State Warriors on Friday, March 13, during the NCAA Division II Basketball Tournament.
The matchup, held at GVSU Fieldhouse at 7:30 p.m., marked the team’s first tournament meeting with Wayne State Warriors.
