Air Force senior team captain Brooks Morrell led the Falcons during the second day of the Folds of Honor Collegiate at American Dunes Golf Course in Grand Haven, Michigan, on Tuesday, September 9.
Morrell began his round with a birdie on the first hole and finished with a score of 74 (+3) for the day. Senior Ted Davenport followed closely, shooting a 75 (+4) in the second round. Other Air Force scores included Eli Huntington with a 77, Carson Baker with a 79, and Eric Liveringhouse with an 82.
After two rounds (36 holes), Davenport leads the Air Force team with a total score of 152. Morrell is next at 154, followed by Baker at 155, Huntington at 158, and Liveringhouse at 161.
Alabama, currently ranked No. 18 nationally and last year’s Folds of Honor champion, posted a team score of 280 (-4) in the second round and leads the tournament with an overall score of 565 (-3). Notre Dame stands in second place at 569 while Kansas holds third at 575. The Air Force Falcons are positioned fifteenth overall with a total score of 618.
The tournament will conclude with its final round on Wednesday, September 10, beginning at noon Eastern Time at American Dunes Golf Course.
