Milahnie Perry became the all-time leading scorer in Air Force Women’s Basketball history during her final home game, despite the team’s 74-57 loss to San Diego State on Tuesday afternoon at Clune Arena. The game also marked Senior Day for the Falcons, as they recognized their Class of 2026 graduates.
Perry scored 26 points and teammate Emily Adams added 17, making them the game’s top scorers. With this performance, Perry increased her career total to 1,740 points and set a new record for most games played by an Air Force player with 121 appearances.
The Falcons started strong with a 7-0 run and led San Diego State 14-12 after the first quarter, largely due to Adams’ early scoring efforts. However, San Diego State responded with effective three-point shooting in the second quarter. Nala Williams gave SDSU its first lead with a three-pointer, followed by two more from Naomi Panganiban that put Air Force behind 25-18. The Falcons briefly closed the gap but trailed 29-23 at halftime.
Both teams exchanged baskets early in the second half before San Diego State built a double-digit lead that lasted through the end of the game. Late in the third quarter, Perry helped cut into SDSU’s advantage by converting a four-point possession, bringing Air Force within eleven points heading into the fourth quarter.
In the final period, Perry went on to score ten more points and secured her place in program history with a driving basket in traffic with two minutes left.
Air Force finishes its regular season with a record of 13-17 overall and 7-13 in Mountain West play. The team now awaits its seeding and opponent for the upcoming Credit Union 1 Mountain West Championships scheduled from March 7-10 in Las Vegas.
