Midgrade gas was sold at the lowest price of $3.79 per gallon at two gas stations in El Paso County during the week ending Mar. 28, according to customer reports submitted to GasBuddy.
Countywide, midgrade gas averaged $4.25 per gallon.
Of the 241 reported gas stations located within El Paso County, 166 offered midgrade gas.
The average reported price for a gallon of midgrade gas in Colorado was $4.30, down from the previous week.
U.S. gas prices continue to decline after reaching their lowest level since 2021, according to GasBuddy. The group projects the national average could dip below $2.80 per gallon during the holiday period, driven by increased oil production and lower seasonal demand.
