Rep. Jeff Crank, who represents Colorado’s Fifth Congressional District, shared several updates on his official X account last week and this week regarding community engagement and local policy concerns.
On January 22, 2026, Crank highlighted his team’s recent efforts to assist veterans and residents in the district: “Last week, our team hosted VA mobile office hours around Colorado’s Fifth Congressional District! Later that day, Crank welcomed a local nonprofit organization from Colorado Springs to Washington D.C., writing: “Please give a warm welcome to the Friends of Club 21, a Colorado Springs nonprofit, to Washington DC. Their mission of empowering individuals with Down Syndrome through the arts and education will be centerstage at the National March for Life rally this week as they perform the https://t.co/yWtDrMV9Eu”. The group was recognized for its commitment to supporting people with Down Syndrome through creative and educational initiatives.
In another post on January 22, Crank addressed concerns about wildlife management in Colorado: “The wolf reintroduction plan has been flawed since its inception. It was forced onto rural CO communities by voters in Denver & Boulder, and over 40% of the relocated wolves have died. Thank you Director Nesvik & @USFWS for their rigorous oversight. https://t.co/uJHEHbLk3I”. The Congressman expressed criticism of how the wolf reintroduction initiative has unfolded in rural areas following voter approval from urban centers.
Rep. Jeff Crank assumed office as U.S. Representative for Colorado’s Fifth District in January 2025 after winning the November 2024 general election. His district covers much of central Colorado including Colorado Springs.
