Junior Eli Huntington was the top performer for the Air Force golf team at the Xavier Invitational, held October 20-21 at Maketewah Country Club in Cincinnati, Ohio. Huntington finished tied for 39th place with a total score of 226 (+16), recording rounds of 74, 76, and 76.
Senior Eric Liveringhouse was the team’s second-best finisher with a score of 227, followed by senior Brooks Morrell at 228. Sophomore Jackson Scaletta posted a total of 230, highlighted by a career-best road and team-scoring round of 72 (+2) in the second round. Junior Carson Baker rounded out the team with a score of 233.
Xavier University won the tournament with a total score of 854. The Air Force team finished ninth, posting scores of 299, 303, and 300 for a combined total of 902.
The Air Force golf team will compete next at the Kapolei Invitational in Kapolei, Hawaii, from November 4 to 6.
