On Saturday, Nov. 22, former Sand Creek High School standout Elijah Brotherns’ current collegiate team the CSU Pueblo ThunderWolves lost 24-37 against the Texas–Permian Basin Falcons in the NCAA Division II Football Championship.
The game took place at CSU Pueblo ThunderBowl at 1 p.m. and was the first matchup against the Texas–Permian Basin Falcons in the tournament.
Laura Bowerman, Air Force cross country coach, has been named to Team USA’s coaching staff for the World Athletics Indoor Championships in Poland. She will oversee distance runners during the event later this month.
Air Force Women’s Basketball will play Colorado State for its first-ever Mountain West championship on March 10. The Falcons are making history as a ninth seed with standout performances from senior Milahnie Perry and junior Jayda McNabb.
