The Air Force Falcons men’s wrestling team is set to participate in the David H. Lehman ’68 Franklin & Marshall Open on Jan. 9, with action beginning at 9 a.m. Eastern Time at the Alumni Sports and Fitness Center in Lancaster, Pennsylvania.

The event marks the team’s return after a two-week break and will feature live results and video coverage through Track Wrestling and Flo Arena. Fans can follow every bout online, with free access to live results via Flo Arena under the 2026 Franklin & Marshall Open.

A pair of Falcons remain nationally ranked heading into the competition: Karson Tompkins is listed as high as No. 24 by The College Wrestling Report and No. 27 by FloWrestling, while sophomore Carter Nogle holds a No. 30 ranking from TCWR. Five Falcons have earned pre-seeds for their weight classes, led by freshman Tompkins who is seeded first in the 197-pound division. Team captain Tucker Owens (125 pounds), Nogle (141), and Brian Burburija (184) are all seeded fifth; Gavin Caprella (133) holds a six seed; and team captain Bryce Shelton (149) is seeded ninth.

Air Force will be represented across ten weight classes with athletes including Owens, Caprella, Nogle, Shelton, EJ Beloncik, Jesse Vanorden, Logan Fowler, Gunner Cramblett, Burburija, Josh Cordio, Tompkins, Rylan Kuhn, Antonio Ramos and Soren Herzog.

In addition to competing at Franklin & Marshall’s tournament in Pennsylvania on Friday—where gym doors open for participants at 5:45 a.m., weigh-ins begin at 7:00 a.m., fan entry starts at 8:00 a.m., and matches are expected to conclude around 6:30 p.m.—a small group of Falcons will also travel west to Gunnison for the Western Colorado Open.

Looking ahead following this weekend’s tournaments, Air Force resumes Big 12 dual action against Oklahoma on Jan.16 in Norman with matches scheduled for McCasland Field House at 7 p.m Central Time.
