The El Paso County Sheriff’s Office announced on Apr. 8 that it is seeking information related to a shooting incident reported in the late evening hours of April 4 in the 31000 block of Truckton Road, located in unincorporated El Paso County.

According to the Sheriff’s Office, a resident called 9-1-1 after an unknown individual banged on their door and multiple gunshots were heard on their property. The reporting party later found several bullet holes in their vehicle and a broken window in their garage. No injuries were reported as a result of the incident.

Video evidence obtained during the investigation shows an unidentified pickup truck turning from Lauppe Road onto Truckton Road and stopping at the residence at approximately 11:07 p.m. The suspect or suspects left the area around 11:24 p.m., traveling eastbound on Truckton Road toward Yoder Road.

The Sheriff’s Office said this remains an active investigation. They are asking anyone with information about this incident or who may have video footage from the area to contact their non-emergency line at 719-390-5555.
