Payton Sterk, a former Doherty High School star now playing for the Washburn Ichabods, is set to take part in the NCAA Division II Basketball Tournament.
The team enters the competition as the No. 5 seed and will go up against the No. 4 seed Central Missouri Jennies in the first round.
The opening matchup is scheduled for Friday, March 13 at 7:30 p.m. at Taylor Center.
