Dennis Harrington has been named assistant coach for the Air Force men’s basketball team for the 2025-26 season, according to an announcement by head coach Joe Scott. Harrington arrives at the Academy after serving as director of operations at Green Bay.
At Green Bay, Harrington participated in various roles both on and off the court. Before his tenure there, he worked at St Thomas (Minn.) as Special Assistant to the Head Coach, where his duties included scouting, video analysis, analytics, recruiting coordination, and general operations.
Harrington also spent four years at DePauw University as an assistant men’s basketball coach. His responsibilities spanned all aspects of the program such as scouting, recruiting, and operations. Under his guidance, DePauw recorded a 54-37 record over four seasons and achieved a #10 ranking in the final D3hoops poll in 2021.
Earlier in his career, Harrington was with Saint Elizabeth University’s men’s basketball program during its first two seasons. He also coached high school basketball for three years at different programs.
Harrington holds a Bachelor of Arts in History from Marquette University and is originally from Long Beach Island, New Jersey.
