On Friday, March 13, Brooke Mansanares, a former Doherty High School star, helped lead the Colorado Mesa Mavericks to an 80-45 victory over the Lubbock Christian Chaparrals in the NCAA Division II Basketball Tournament.

Kitty Magee Arena hosted the 11 a.m. contest, marking the Mavericks’ first faceoff against the Lubbock Christian Chaparrals in the tournament.

Colorado Mesa Mavericks are set to play their next game on Saturday, March 14 at 4 p.m., once again at Kitty Magee Arena.
