Aiyana Mitchell helps lead Vanderbilt to NCAA Tournament victory over High Point

On Saturday, March 21, former Fountain-Fort Carson High School basketball star Aiyana Mitchell’s collegiate squad, the Vanderbilt Commodores, defeated the High Point Panthers 102-61 in the NCAA Tournament.

The matchup was held at Memorial Gymnasium at 7 p.m.

Mitchell tallied six points, grabbed seven rebounds and recorded one block in her 10 minutes of play.

Vanderbilt will face its next opponent on Monday, March 23, at 6 p.m. at Memorial Gymnasium.
