Air Force Women’s Tennis will play against Colorado on Jan. 25 at the Meadows Club in Boulder, with the match set to begin at 2 p.m. Mountain Time.
This contest marks the second stop of a nine-match road stretch for the Falcons as they continue their early season schedule. Fans can follow live scoring for Sunday’s matches through a link available on the team’s schedule page at goairforcefalcons.com.
The Falcons are coming off a two-match trip in Texas that opened their 2026 dual season, where they lost to SMU by a score of 6-1 and then fell to No. 2 Texas A&M, losing 7-0 in College Station. Last year, Air Force faced Colorado at home and narrowly lost, with a final score of 4-3 after winning the doubles point thanks to victories from Shivaani Selvan/Sofia Mavor and Nadia Kojonroj/Arianna Van Houweling.
In the previous season under head coach Taylor Hollander, Air Force saw its largest single-season turnaround in program history, finishing ninth in the final ITA Mountain Region rankings after improving from last place in 2023-24 to posting a record of 12-14 overall and going 4-6 against Mountain West opponents. The team ended its year as the seventh seed in the Mountain West Championship, where it defeated New Mexico and secured a significant postseason win over No. 69 Nevada—its highest-seeded postseason victory since 2017.
The team also announced that its incoming class ranked tenth nationally among mid-major women’s programs according to Tennis Recruiting Network’s list for top mid-major classes of 2025—the highest-ever ranking for Air Force on this platform—and ahead of both Navy and Army among service academies.
Senior Abby Cotuna has returned for her final season after previously earning multiple conference honors as a freshman and leading Air Force during championship play with an undefeated singles run that helped secure its first runner-up finish ever in postseason competition.
