Air Force women’s tennis announces 2026 dual match schedule

The Air Force Women’s Tennis team announced its 2026 dual match schedule on Nov. 17, featuring five matches against teams that competed in the 2025 Division I Women’s Tennis Championship.

The schedule includes several high-profile opponents, such as a national runner-up, three conference champions, and six teams ranked in the final Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) national rankings for 2025. The Falcons will begin their season with nine consecutive matches away from home.

Air Force opens play on Jan. 16 against Southern Methodist University in Dallas and continues with a match against Texas A&M, the national runner-up and 2024 national champion, on Jan. 18 in College Station. Other early road contests include matches at Colorado (Jan. 25), Northern Arizona (Jan. 30), New Mexico State (Jan. 31), Denver (Feb. 6), Army West Point at the USTA National Campus in Orlando for College MatchDay (Feb.14), and a doubleheader versus Oklahoma and Arkansas in Norman on Feb.21.

The team’s home debut is set for Feb.27 against North Florida, followed by additional home matches throughout March and April including South Dakota, Davidson, Nevada, UNLV, Wyoming, Colorado State, Boise State and New Mexico.

Mountain West Conference play begins March13 with a home match against Nevada and continues through April with both home and away fixtures across the region before concluding regular season play at Utah State on Apr.12.

Postseason competition starts Apr.22 with the Mountain West Women’s Tennis Championships held at Darling Tennis Center in Las Vegas.
