Air Force Women’s Gymnastics secured a second-place finish with a score of 195.675 at the Missouri quad meet on Feb. 20, defeating Illinois and Ball State while falling to No. 8 Missouri at Mizzou Arena.

The Falcons’ performance marked their sixth-best all-time program score and was the third consecutive week in which their final team score set a new mark in the Air Force record book.

Maggie Slife, reigning Mountain West Gymnast of the Year, won her seventh-consecutive all-around title with a total of 39.450, achieving the third-best all-around score in Air Force history. The Falcons began strong on floor exercise, earning a team total of 49.150 led by three scores of 9.875 from Bigler, Greene (who tied her season and career high), and Slife.

“I am super proud of our team effort tonight,” head coach Jennifer Green said.“We were consistent and no major mistakes. This team has handled going head-to-head with top ten teams extremely well and has held their own in some pretty big venues.”

Looking ahead, the Falcons will travel to San Jose on Sunday to compete against San Jose State and UC Davis at Provident Credit Union Event Center.
