Air Force Women’s Gymnastics finished in fourth place with a score of 195.750 at the 2026 Credit Union 1 Mountain West Gymnastics Championships, held March 21 at ExtraMile Arena in Boise, Idaho.
The competition concluded the Falcons’ regular season and featured standout performances from several athletes. Alyssa Bigler was named all-around champion, earning her first career Mountain West title. Bigler also reached the podium on balance beam and vault, finishing second and third respectively in those events.
The team began the evening on balance beam with a total score of 48.925. Bigler scored a 9.925 to tie her career high and secure second place for the event’s opening rotation. Senior Gabi Hartley contributed a score of 9.800, marking her third such achievement this season.
On floor exercise, Air Force again posted a team score of 48.925. Maggie Slife, who holds the title of Mountain West Gymnast of the Year, led with a score of 9.850 for fourth place overall in that event. Both Bigler and Kylee Greene received scores of 9.800; this marked Greene’s seventh consecutive meet scoring at least that amount in floor exercise during the season.
The Falcons completed their vault rotation with a total score of 48.650 as Bigler earned third place individually by scoring a team-high 9.825 on vault for Air Force.
Finishing strong on uneven bars, Air Force achieved their highest event total of the night—a meet-high score of 49.250—which is also recorded as the fourth-highest bars score in program history for Falcon gymnastics.
“The team hung strong throughout the night and finished strong,” said Mountain West Coach of the Year Jennifer Green.” And we are ready for NCAA Regionals!”
Looking ahead, Air Force Women’s Gymnastics will await national results to determine if they qualify for this year’s NCAA Regionals; selections will be announced Monday morning on ESPNU.
