Air Force women’s basketball will travel to Fresno, California, to face Fresno State on Saturday, February 1 at 4 p.m. Mountain Time. The game will take place at the Save Mart Center and can be viewed on the Mountain West Network or listened to on XtraSports AM 1300 with Ryan Kaufman providing commentary. Air Force enters the matchup with an overall record of 8-12 and a conference record of 2-8 in the Mountain West. Fresno State holds a record of 10-12 overall and is 4-7 in conference play.
Senior Milahnie Perry leads Air Force in scoring, averaging 16.2 points per game, which is currently second highest in the Mountain West Conference. Junior Keelie O’Hollaren follows with an average of 9.5 points per game. The Falcons rank second in turnover margin (2.90) and are third in turnovers forced per game (18), steals per game (9.6), and offensive rebounds (12.4) within their conference.
In their previous outing, Air Force lost to New Mexico by a score of 74-57 despite trailing by only one point at halftime. Keelie O’Hollaren led with 14 points while senior Emily Adams scored a career-high 13 points. Jayda McNabb contributed seven points and collected nine rebounds.
The Falcons have performed well on the boards during their last five victories, winning games against Wright State, Utah Valley, New Mexico Highlands, Nevada, and San Jose State when they out-rebounded their opponents or matched them in second-chance points.
Jayda McNabb has been recognized for her consistency as she leads the Mountain West and ranks third nationally in offensive rebounding with an average of 4.4 per game this season; she also averages 7.9 total rebounds and is among league leaders in steals per game at 2.20.
Milahnie Perry has accumulated a career total of 1,551 points for Air Force and is now just 64 points away from moving into fourth place all-time for career scoring at the Academy—and first place among Division I players—surpassing Riley Snyder’s mark set between 2018–2022.
After facing Fresno State, Air Force will return home to host Utah State on February 4 followed by Grand Canyon on February 7.
Recent trends show that Air Force performs strongly when leading at halftime (5-1), holding opponents to under sixty points (7-2), or making more three-point baskets than their opponents (6-2). Over the past four seasons, they have compiled a home record of 33-20 and have found success when reaching certain scoring thresholds or out-rebounding opponents.
