Air Force Women’s Basketball will begin its 2026 Women’s National Invitational Tournament campaign by hosting Northern Colorado on March 19 at Clune Arena. The game is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. Mountain Time and will be available for viewing on the Mountain West Network, with radio coverage provided by 740 KVOR.

The matchup marks a significant moment for Air Force, as the team continues to build on recent postseason achievements. The Falcons, who finished the season with a record of 16-18 (7-13 Mountain West), are making their third appearance in the WNIT and playing beyond the conference tournament in back-to-back seasons for the first time.

Senior Milahnie Perry leads Air Force in scoring with an average of 17.9 points per game, topping all players in the Mountain West Conference. Alongside Perry, Emily Adams has contributed significantly, averaging 9.2 points per game and recently completing her most productive stretch as a Falcon with an average of 13.3 points over her last 17 games. Jayda McNabb was named Mountain West Defensive Player of the Year and led Air Force in steals and offensive rebounds throughout the season.

In their previous outing, Air Force concluded a historic run in the Mountain West Championships by reaching the title game as a nine seed—the lowest ever to do so—before falling to Colorado State. Perry scored a total of 82 points across three tournament games and was named both All-Tournament selection and tournament MVP, while Adams also earned All-Tournament honors.

The Falcons’ defense has been notable this season, ranking first in turnover margin (3.97) within their conference and second in turnovers forced per game (16.94). McNabb’s performance included multiple games with high steal counts and strong rebounding efforts that placed her among national leaders.

Fans attending events at the U.S. Air Force Academy are reminded that new access procedures require visitors without Department of Defense identification to obtain monthly visitor passes rather than event-specific ones. More information is available through official channels.
