The Falcons come into the matchup after securing two consecutive home wins at Clune Arena. Senior Milahnie Perry leads the team in scoring with an average of 15 points per game, while junior Jordyn Devaughn follows with 10.4 points per game. After five games this season, Air Force leads the Mountain West Conference in turnover margin (+8.40), ranking 37th nationally. The team is also second in the conference for turnovers forced per game (20.80) and turnovers committed per game (12.4).

In their most recent outing, Air Force defeated Portland State 65-55 at home. Perry recorded a season-high 20 points during that game. Freshman Bhret Clay contributed 11 points and tied Jayda McNabb for a team-high six rebounds; Clay also led with three steals, marking her third game this season with three or more takeaways. Devaughn added ten points—her fourth double-digit performance in five games.

Jayda McNabb has played a significant role for Air Force throughout her time at the Academy. Last season as a sophomore, she averaged 7.9 points per game and led the team in rebounding while ranking second in offensive rebounds within the Mountain West Conference. This year, McNabb leads the conference with 36 total rebounds and is ranked seventeenth nationally in offensive rebounding.

Bhret Clay has been effective from beyond the arc early this season, shooting .500 on three-pointers (8-for-16) over five games and leading Air Force in steals with an average of 2.6 per contest—sixth best in the conference.

Saturday’s matchup marks Air Force’s first visit to La Jolla and only their second meeting ever against UC San Diego. In their previous encounter last year at Clune Arena, Air Force won narrowly by a score of 67-64 after overcoming a late deficit; McNabb scored seventeen points while Perry added fifteen as part of a defensive effort that forced UCSD into twenty-nine turnovers—a season high for the Tritons.
