Air Force Women’s Basketball will face the UNLV Lady Rebels in Las Vegas on Wednesday, January 21 at 7:30 p.m. Mountain Time. The game will take place at Cox Pavilion and will be broadcast on the Mountain West Network. Radio coverage will be provided by XtraSports AM 1300 with Ryan Kaufman, and live statistics will be available through StatBroadcast.
The Falcons enter the matchup with an overall record of 8-10 and a conference record of 2-6 in the Mountain West. Their most recent game ended in a 67-44 loss against Wyoming, where Air Force led in several categories including offensive rebounds, steals, points off turnovers, points in the paint, second-chance points, and fast-break points. Junior Jayda McNabb led the team with 16 points and 11 rebounds.
UNLV holds a record of 12-6 overall and is currently leading the conference at 7-1. In their last outing, they lost to San Diego State University in overtime.
Senior Milahnie Perry leads Air Force scoring with an average of 16.8 points per game, which ranks second in the Mountain West Conference. Junior Keelie O’Hollaren has averaged 17.7 points over her last four games while shooting over 46 percent from three-point range during that stretch.
Jayda McNabb continues to contribute significantly for Air Force this season as she leads the conference and ranks fifth nationally in offensive rebounding with an average of 4.5 per game. She also stands third in total rebounds (8.0) within the league and is second among Mountain West players for steals per game (2.33), while maintaining a team-best field goal percentage above .51.
Air Force currently leads the conference in turnover margin (+4), ranks second for turnovers forced per game (18.5), third for steals per game (9.9), and third for offensive rebounding (12.3 rpg).
Historically, Perry is approaching milestones as she sits fifth on Air Force’s all-time career scoring list with 1,545 points—just 70 away from fourth place overall and first among Division I players at Air Force since Riley Snyder’s tenure from 2018 to 2022.
Recent trends show that Air Force performs well when holding opponents to fewer than 60 points or when leading at halftime; they are also successful when making more three-point baskets or out-rebounding their opponents.
The Falcons’ next scheduled contest after UNLV is against New Mexico on January 24.
