Air Force Women’s Basketball will face San Jose State in a Mountain West Conference rematch at Clune Arena on Saturday, February 14, at 1:00 p.m. MT. The Falcons currently hold an 11-13 overall record and are 5-9 in conference play, while the Spartans stand at 3-22 overall and 1-13 in the Mountain West.
The game will be broadcast live on the Mountain West Network with commentary from Vince Greco and Air Force alumna Jo Huntimer. Radio coverage is available on XtraSports AM 1300, with Ryan Kaufman providing play-by-play. Live statistics can be accessed through StatBroadcast, with links provided on the women’s basketball schedule page at goairforcefalcons.com.
Senior Milahnie Perry leads Air Force in scoring with an average of 17.4 points per game, followed by junior Keelie O’Hollaren who averages 9.3 points. The team ranks second in the conference for turnover margin (3.33) and turnovers forced per game (17.33), as well as third in steals per game (8.9) and offensive rebounds (12.3). Perry’s scoring average is currently the highest in the Mountain West.
In their most recent outing, Air Force saw its three-game winning streak end with a loss to Nevada, falling 76-59 in Reno. Perry recorded a game-high 20 points and drew six fouls during that contest, while senior Emily Adams contributed 11 points.
The previous meeting between these teams occurred on January 10, when Air Force secured a decisive 76-57 victory over San Jose State at the Provident Credit Union Event Center. In that matchup, O’Hollaren matched her career high with 25 points and made five three-pointers, while Perry added 20 points and nine rebounds.
Historically, Air Force trails San Jose State slightly in their all-time series at 13-15 but has won four of the last five meetings between the programs.
Perry recently achieved fourth place on Air Force’s all-time career scoring list—and first among Division I players—after surpassing the milestone during a win over Grand Canyon earlier this month. She now has a total of 1,643 career points and is within reach of moving up further on the list before season’s end. “On Saturday ahead of tip-off, Air Force Director of Athletics Nathan Pine will be in attendance to honor and recognize Perry for the accomplishment.”
Adams has shown improvement over her last seven games, averaging 13 points—the most productive stretch of her college career so far—and achieving her first double-double against Utah State earlier this month.
Junior Jayda McNabb continues to lead both the team and conference in offensive rebounding with an average of 4.3 per game and is third overall for total rebounds (7.9). She also ranks second among Mountain West players for steals per game (2.25). With her current rebound tally at 612, she is close to entering Air Force’s top ten all-time rebounders.
Air Force began its home season with four consecutive wins at Clune Arena—a streak contributing to its goal of regaining an above .500 home record for the first time since joining Division I eleven years ago.
Recent trends indicate that when leading at halftime or holding opponents under sixty points—especially at home—Air Force has found consistent success over multiple seasons.
