Three players from the Air Force Women’s Basketball team have received recognition in the 2025-26 All-Mountain West postseason awards, according to an announcement by the conference office. Junior Jayda McNabb was named Mountain West Defensive Player of the Year, marking only the second time a player from Air Force has received this honor since Cierra Winters in 2021-22.

McNabb also earned a spot on the MW All-Defensive Team. She finished the regular season ranked second in steals per game with 2.20 and led her team in takeaways throughout the season. “McNabb, who had multiple steals in 11 MW games and three or more in eight games this season, paced an Air Force regiment which closed its regular season leading the league in turnover margin (+3.97) and third in the conference in steals per game (8.93),” according to the release.

In addition to her defensive play, McNabb was noted for her offensive rebounding skills, leading the Mountain West and ranking as high as second nationally during parts of the season. She is currently tenth nationwide in offensive rebounds per game and became the first player—male or female—in Mountain West history to record at least 120 offensive rebounds and 60 steals within a single season. She also ended conference play fifth in blocked shots per game at 0.87.

Senior Milahnie Perry was selected for All-Mountain West honors, making her just the second Falcon ever to receive multiple career All-MW awards after previously earning recognition as a sophomore. Perry led all players during conference play with an average of 17.14 points per game and scored double digits in 13 games this season, including ten games with at least 20 points.

“At home versus Colorado State, Perry posted 31 points against the Rams – the most scored by a Mountain West player this season,” stated officials. In another performance against San Jose State on January 10, she made all eight free throw attempts during a win, which was noted as one of the best perfect finishes from the line this year within conference play. Later against San Jose State on February 14, Perry went to the line sixteen times and made fourteen free throws—a single-game best for both makes and attempts among all Mountain West players this year.

Perry now holds Air Force’s all-time scoring record with 1,740 career points—a milestone achieved during her final regular-season home appearance against San Diego State on March 3.

Freshman Bhret Clay earned selection to the MW All-Freshman team—the third Falcon freshman recognized over four seasons since creation of that award category in 2013-14. Clay played every regular-season game for Air Force and started fourteen times while shooting .352 from three-point range overall and .400 or better from long distance in six conference games; Air Force won three of those contests. Clay also collected ninety-three rebounds across thirty games.

Air Force Women’s Basketball will begin postseason play today by facing Wyoming at Las Vegas’ Credit Union 1 Mountain West Basketball Championship at 1 p.m. MT.
