Air Force Women’s Basketball secured a 65-55 victory over Portland State at Clune Arena on Tuesday, improving their home record to 2-0 this season. The Falcons previously defeated Manhattan College in their home opener.
Senior Milahnie Perry led the team with 20 points, surpassing Amanda Williams (1984-88) for eighth place on Air Force’s all-time scoring list. This was the first 20-point performance by a Falcon player this season and marked a personal season high for Perry.

Clay also tied Jayda McNabb with six rebounds and recorded three steals, her third game this season with at least three takeaways. Junior Jordyn Devaughn added 10 points, marking her fourth double-digit scoring effort in five games.
The Falcons established an early lead, finishing the first quarter ahead 20-12 after an 11-2 run sparked by Clay’s baskets and capitalizing on six turnovers by Portland State. In the second quarter, Portland State narrowed the gap to four points before Air Force responded with a 12-2 run led by Perry, ending the half up 41-26 following a buzzer-beating three-pointer from McNabb.
Portland State outscored Air Force in the third quarter but could not close the deficit. Devaughn scored seven points in the final period while Clay added her third three-pointer to help secure the win.
Air Force finished ahead of Portland State in several statistical categories including three-pointers made (8), offensive rebounds (16), assists (11), steals (10), points off turnovers (14), second-chance points (13), and bench points (26). The victory improved Air Force’s all-time record against Portland State to 3-0 and their record against current Big Sky Conference members to 33-32.
The Falcons will next play UC San Diego in La Jolla, California on Saturday, November 22 at 3 p.m. Mountain Time.
