Air Force Women’s Gymnastics has been selected to compete at the 2026 NCAA Baton Rouge Regional, according to a March 23 announcement. This marks the first time since 2002 and only the third time in program history that Air Force will participate in the national postseason event.
The team, ranked 30th nationally with a National Qualifying Score of 195.845, is scheduled to face Nebraska in the opening round on April 1 at the Pete Maravich Assembly Center. The regional competition will run from April 1-4.
Three Air Force gymnasts—sophomore Alyssa Bigler, junior Maggie Slife, and senior Kylee Greene—qualified as individual performers for all-around competition. This is the first time since 2015 that three Falcons have qualified individually.
The regional format begins with a dual meet between two teams; the winner advances to round two, which includes eight teams and individual qualifiers. The top two teams from each session move on to subsequent rounds, ultimately determining which programs advance to the national championship set for April 18 in Fort Worth. Individual gymnasts who are not part of advancing teams can also qualify for nationals based on their performances during regionals.
All rounds of regional competition will be streamed live on ESPN+. Additional information about tickets and logistics for fans attending or following along can be found through LSU Sports’ official NCAA Regional page.
