Air Force Women’s Basketball secured a 77-61 victory over San Jose State on Saturday at Clune Arena, completing a season sweep of the Spartans. The Falcons overcame an early deficit, with senior Milahnie Perry leading the team by scoring a game-high 20 points. Perry’s performance at the free throw line—making 14 out of 16 attempts—set new career highs and established season records for the Mountain West Conference in both categories for the 2025-26 season. With her point total, Perry moved into third place on Air Force’s all-time career scoring list, surpassing alumna Stacey Goss.
Juniors Keelie O’Hollaren and Jayda McNabb also contributed significantly, adding 18 and 14 points respectively and collecting seven rebounds each. The Falcons trailed at the end of the first quarter but managed to close the gap with an eight-point run led by Perry. San Jose State maintained a narrow lead at halftime, up 33-31.
The third quarter saw Air Force increase defensive pressure, forcing eight turnovers in that period alone and a total of 15 in the second half. This shift allowed them to take control of the game, outscoring San Jose State 25-13 in the third quarter and entering the final period with a ten-point advantage.
San Jose State narrowed the deficit to six points early in the fourth quarter, but Air Force responded with key plays from senior Emily Adams and another score following a steal by Clay. From that point on, Air Force limited San Jose State to just two field goals while extending their lead. Freshman Eva Love added a three-pointer on her first collegiate field goal attempt during this stretch.
Statistically, Air Force led San Jose State in several categories: field goals made (21), three-point attempts (27), free throws made (28—a season high), free throws attempted (34), rebounds (36), assists (12), steals (12), points off turnovers (29—a season high), second-chance points (six), and fast-break points (15). The Falcons’ 28 made free throws are also the most by any Mountain West team in a single game this season.
This win marks Air Force’s fourth victory in their last five games and their third consecutive win against San Jose State. The Falcons now hold a 14-15 record all-time against SJSU and are 7-6 when playing at home in this series.
Air Force Women’s Basketball will next play away games against Boise State on February 18 and New Mexico on February 21 before returning home to host Wyoming on February 25 for Field Trip Day.
