The Air Force Falcons volleyball team will conclude its 2025 home schedule with matches against Grand Canyon and New Mexico at Cadet East Gym. The Falcons are set to host Grand Canyon, a new member of the conference, on Thursday, November 13, at 6:00 p.m. Mountain Time. The final home match, which is also Senior Day, will take place against New Mexico on Saturday, November 15, at 1:00 p.m.
Tickets for both matches are available at GoAirForceFalcons.com. The Academy’s Clear Bag Policy will be enforced during these events. Live statistics for the games can be accessed via StatBroadcast. Visitors who do not possess a Department of Defense ID card are required to obtain a pass before entering the Air Force Academy for athletic events.
Grand Canyon enters the week with a record of 16-9 overall and an 8-6 mark in conference play. Last weekend, the Lopes split two five-set matches at home against San Diego State and UNLV. They lead the league in digs and blocks as a team, while Aubrey Bellus tops the conference individually in blocks per set.
New Mexico holds an 11-14 overall record and is 3-11 in Mountain West competition this season. The Lobos recently lost to UNLV and defeated San Diego State at home. They rank among the top five teams in the conference for digs per set, led by Camila Canedo who averages 4.70 digs per set—nearly one more than any other player in the league.
Historically, Air Force has played Grand Canyon eight times and holds a 3-5 record in those meetings; only two have been at the Division I level (0-2). At home against Grand Canyon, Air Force is even at one win and one loss, with both matches going five sets—the win occurring in 1990 and the loss in 2016. Against New Mexico, Air Force has won eight out of fifty-four encounters; four of those victories were at home with three taking place within the past nine years.
Saturday’s match will also serve as an occasion to honor six seniors: Ashley Bible, Greta Hans, Alex Hatchett, Savanah Johnson, Jordan Suan, and manager Elle Viles.
Within conference statistics this season, Jordan Suan is second for digs per set during league play (3.80), while Alex Hatchett ranks third in hitting efficiency (.371). Ashley Bible stands fifth in kills (3.79) and Grace Fiaseu is fifth in blocks (1.32). As a unit, Air Force ranks second among conference teams in aces (1.54) and fourth in digs (14.94).
After these home games conclude their local schedule for the year, Air Force will travel to face Utah State on November 20 and Boise State on November 22—marking their final regular-season contests as members of the Mountain West Conference.
