Two members of the Air Force Falcons women’s volleyball team have been recognized by the Mountain West Conference for their performances during the 2025 season. Senior Ashley Bible was named to the all-conference team, while sophomore Alysa Walker received honorable mention honors. The announcement was made on November 25 in Colorado Springs.
Both Bible and Walker are receiving all-conference recognition for the first time in their collegiate careers.
Bible finished her senior season among conference leaders in kills per set (3.97) and points per set (4.47) during league play. She totaled 258 kills, 134 digs, 20 blocks, and 18 service aces throughout the conference schedule. Bible reached double-digit kills in 16 matches and recorded three consecutive games with 22 kills against Fresno State, Grand Canyon, and New Mexico. In Air Force’s win over Fresno State, she posted a .463 hitting percentage—the second-highest efficiency by any player in the conference who had at least 20 kills in a match.
Walker, who saw limited action as a freshman, became one of the top performers this fall. She ranked eighth in kills per set (3.34) and ninth in points per set (3.87) within the conference. As one of only three Falcons to play all 67 sets during Mountain West competition, Walker accumulated 224 kills, 190 digs, 25 blocks (five solo), 18 aces, and ten assists across eighteen matches. She achieved double-digit kill totals nearly every contest and led Air Force to a reverse sweep victory over Grand Canyon with a career-high 26 kills on .357 hitting.
Bible is now the eighth Falcon to be named an all-conference athlete by the Mountain West since Air Force joined the league. Walker’s honorable mention marks only the eighth time an Air Force player has earned that distinction from the conference as well. The two selections this year tie for the program’s second-highest number of honorees in a single season; only three athletes were recognized together previously—in both 1991 and again in 2023.
The list of previous Air Force athletes earning all-conference or honorable mention status includes names such as Akokwe Clement (2014, 2025), Delavane Diaz (2003), Joi Harvey (2020-2021-2023), Piper Heineck (2017), Bailey Keith (2020), Summer Koons (1999), Elizabeth Pennington (2018), Abigail Miksch (2018), Taylor Parker (2014), Caroline Reinkensmeyer (2023), Mac Russ (2023), Shelley Spires (2015), Denise Ssozi (2019).
“Ashley Bible was named to the 18-member all-conference team,” according to today’s announcement from Mountain West officials.
“Sophomore Alysa Walker was one of seven conference athletes to earn honorable mention status,” also stated by league representatives.
This recognition reflects continued growth for Air Force Falcons women’s volleyball within its conference competition.
