The opening set saw Air Force take an early lead after key plays from freshman Sonia Okpara and Fiaseu. Despite a brief comeback by San Jose State that narrowed the score to one point, strong performances from Walker and Fiaseu helped secure a first-set win for Air Force.
In the second set, San Jose State started strong but Air Force responded with an eight-to-one run late in the set. Contributions from Bible, Fiaseu, Loyd, and Walker turned a deficit into a lead that held through to another set victory.
During the third set, San Jose State again took an early advantage before Air Force rallied back with a series of points from Bible, Fiaseu, Pope, and Walker. Senior Alex Hatchett made significant contributions late in the set as well.
