Air Force Women’s Basketball will face Wyoming in the opening round of the 2026 Credit Union 1 Mountain West Women’s Basketball Championship. The game is scheduled for Saturday, March 7 at 1 p.m. MT at the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas.
Both teams enter the tournament with identical conference records of 7-13. Air Force holds an overall record of 13-17, while Wyoming stands at 10-19. Air Force lost its last game to San Diego State, 74-57, while Wyoming secured a win against Grand Canyon, 59-57.
The Falcons are led by senior Milahnie Perry, who averages 17.1 points per game and currently leads the Mountain West in scoring. Junior Keelie O’Hollaren contributes an average of 8.8 points per game. Air Force ranks first in the conference for turnover margin (3.97), second in turnovers forced per game (17.43), and third in both steals per game (8.9) and offensive rebounding (12.0 rpg).
In their most recent matchup, Perry became Air Force’s all-time leading scorer with a career total of 1,740 points and set a new program record for games played at 121 appearances. “On her own Senior Day, Perry surpassed Lt. Gen. (Ret.) Michelle Johnson (1977-81) to become the highest career scoring player in Air Force history,” according to team information.
Senior Emily Adams has also been productive recently, averaging 12.8 points over her final 13 regular season games and recording her first career double-double against Utah State.
Sophomore Jayda McNabb has played a key role for Air Force this season, leading the Mountain West and ranking tenth nationally in offensive rebounds with an average of 4.1 per game. She is also third in total rebounds within the league and second among Mountain West players in steals per game.
This season’s meetings between Air Force and Wyoming were split; Wyoming won their home contest on January 17 with a score of 67-44, while Air Force claimed an overtime victory against the Cowgirls on February 25.
