Air Force will host Alabama State in a men’s basketball game on Wednesday, November 19 at Clune Arena, located at the U.S. Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs. The game is scheduled to begin at 4 p.m. Mountain Time.
The matchup will be broadcast on Altitude and the Mountain West Network, with Tyler Maun providing play-by-play commentary and Brian Jerman serving as analyst. Radio coverage will be available on XTRA Sports 1300 AM with Jim Arthur calling the action. Fans can also follow live statistics via Statbroadcast.
This contest marks the first-ever meeting between Air Force and Alabama State. Heading into the game, Air Force holds a record of 0-4 and is looking to break a nine-game losing streak after falling to Miami (Ohio) 76-61 in their last outing. Alabama State comes in with a 2-2 record following a loss to Colorado by a score of 94-66.
Joe Scott leads Air Force as head coach in his sixth year of his second tenure and tenth overall season with the Falcons. Tony Madlock is at the helm for Alabama State, now in his fourth season as head coach.
The Falcons are starting their 70th season of basketball this year. The team returns eight players from last season while adding nine freshmen to its roster for the 2025-26 campaign. Through four games so far, freshmen have contributed nearly half—47 percent—of Air Force’s total scoring output.
Notably, Ethan Taylor, who graduated from Air Force in 2025, was selected ninth overall in the recent NBA G-League Draft by the Greensboro Swarm before being traded to the Santa Cruz Warriors, an affiliate of the Golden State Warriors.
Following Wednesday’s matchup against Alabama State, Air Force will host SIUE on November 21 and IU Indianapolis on November 23 as part of the Air Force Classic Multi-Team Event (MTE).
