Air Force will travel to Boise State for a men’s basketball game on Saturday, January 24, at ExtraMile Arena in Boise, Idaho. The matchup is scheduled for 2 p.m. Mountain Time and will be broadcast on the MW Network. Fans can also listen to the radio stream on AM 740 KVOR with play-by-play by Jim Arthur, or follow live statistics via Statbroadcast.

Air Force currently holds a record of 3-16 overall and is winless in Mountain West Conference play at 0-8. The team is seeking to break a 12-game losing streak after falling to Colorado State 81-52 in its most recent contest. Boise State enters the game with an 11-8 record and stands at 3-5 in conference play, coming off an 81-65 victory over Wyoming.

The Falcons are led by interim head coach Jon Jordan, who is in his first season as interim head coach and ninth overall at Air Force. Leon Rice leads the Broncos and has compiled a record of 327-185 over his sixteen seasons with Boise State.

Boise State holds a significant advantage in the all-time series between the two teams, leading 22-6. The last meeting was on March 4, 2025, when Boise State defeated Air Force at USAFA by a score of 80-57. Air Force has not won in Boise since January 15, 2020, and has lost twelve straight games there.

Notable facts about Air Force’s roster include that half of the team’s scoring comes from freshmen players. Caleb Walker has been efficient offensively, shooting over seventy-three percent from the field this season and nearly seventy-six percent during conference games. Walker also made sixteen consecutive baskets across three games—a mark that ranks fourth nationally for consecutive field goals made.

Freshman guard Kam Sanders set a new school record by making fifteen consecutive free throws in one game against South Dakota, breaking a previous record that stood since 1958. Additionally, Air Force has maintained a streak of making at least one three-point shot in each of its last five hundred seven games dating back to 2009.

Following Saturday’s contest against Boise State, Air Force will have a bye before returning to action on January 31 to host Fresno State at home.
