Air Force will face San Diego State on Saturday, February 7, at Clune Arena. The game is scheduled to begin at 6:05 p.m. Mountain Time and will be broadcast on FS1 with Nick Koop providing play-by-play commentary and Greg Herenda as analyst. Fans can also listen to the game on AM 740 KVOR or via the Varsity App, with Jim Arthur on play-by-play.

The event is being promoted as “The Bird’s Birthday/Kid Force Night.” Clune Arena has completed its accessibility improvements, with all stairs and the west ADA ramp now fully operational. Organizers expressed appreciation for fans’ patience during the project and look forward to welcoming them back.

For those without Department of Defense identification cards who are over 18 years old, a visitor’s pass is required for base access.

Air Force enters the matchup with a record of 3-19 overall and 0-11 in Mountain West Conference play. The team is currently on a 15-game losing streak, having most recently lost to Grand Canyon by a score of 81-57. San Diego State comes into the game with a record of 16-6 overall and 10-2 in conference play, following a recent win against Wyoming (72-63).

Jon Jordan serves as Air Force’s interim head coach this season, while Brian Dutcher leads San Diego State. Dutcher holds a significant advantage in previous meetings between these teams, with a personal record of 14-1 against Air Force.

The two programs have met since December 8, 1973. In their last encounter on December 17, 2025, San Diego State defeated Air Force 81-58 in San Diego. San Diego State has won the last twelve matchups between these teams and six straight games at Clune Arena.

Freshmen have played an important role for Air Force this season, contributing more than half of the team’s scoring overall and nearly sixty percent in conference games. Five non-conference opponents faced by Air Force are currently leading their respective conferences. Compared to San Diego State’s roster experience—879 total games played—Air Force has just 365 total games played among its players this season.

Caleb Walker stands out for his shooting efficiency, making over seventy-three percent of his field goal attempts overall and nearly seventy-six percent in conference play. He made sixteen consecutive baskets across three games this season—the fourth-longest such streak nationally.

Freshman guard Kam Sanders set a new school record by making fifteen consecutive free throws in one game against South Dakota; this broke a mark that had stood since 1958. Additionally, Air Force has made at least one three-point shot in each of its last five hundred ten games dating back to 2009.

After facing San Diego State, Air Force will host Colorado State on Tuesday, February 10 at Clune Arena. That game will be available via streaming on the MW Network.
