The Foundation for Teamwork has announced the 24 college football offensive line units included in the 2026 Joe Moore Award Midseason Honor Roll. The announcement was made during a live episode of “Trench Life” on the Joe Moore Award YouTube channel.

CBS Sports personality Jenny Dell, ESPN/SEC Network analyst Cole Cubelic, FanDuel Sports Network podcast host Mike Golic Jr., and CBS Sports analyst and co-founder of the Joe Moore Award Aaron Taylor presented the list and discussed what set these offensive lines apart during the first half of the season.

This year’s honor roll features teams such as Air Force, Army, Alabama, Cincinnati, Duke, Florida State, Georgia Tech, Indiana, Iowa, Memphis, Miami, Michigan, Missouri, Navy, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Oregon, Southern California, Texas A&M, Tennessee, Tulane, Utah, Vanderbilt and Washington.

The Air Force offensive line—known as The Diesel—has contributed to at least 400 total yards in every game this season. The Falcons are currently ranked fourth nationally in rushing with an average of 276 yards per game. In addition to leading the Mountain West Conference in several categories—including third down conversions (51.4%), fourth down conversions (75%), yards per completion (20.74), rushing (276.0), scoring (38.3), passing efficiency (191.20) and total offense (490.3)—the team has scored in 22 out of 24 quarters this season.

The Joe Moore Award is supported by Enovis’ DonJoy brand; nearly all college football teams use DonJoy products and more than 95 percent of Division I linemen use the DonJoy Defiance knee brace for injury prevention. Logistics Plus is also a supporter as the exclusive logistics provider for transporting and delivering the trophy.

Semifinalists for this year’s award will be announced on November 5.

The Joe Moore Award emphasizes teamwork as essential to football: “Teamwork. It’s what defines football as a sport, and it is displayed in its greatest glory – in its most profound necessity – in the play of the offensive line. For it is there that individual achievement only matters if the entire unit is performing. When we execute together, great things happen. But if one player missteps, the rest of the team pays the price. That idea – along with hard work and the willingness to strive to be your best – embodies what Coach Joe Moore instilled in his players.”

“It’s about more than football,” continues the statement from organizers. “It’s about how we live our lives… Teamwork is a bond… And it’s a commitment to put the greater good above ourselves… The road to success requires an unwavering commitment to purpose that creates an unbreakable bond between each of us.”

Named after coach Joe Moore—who coached at Notre Dame and Pittsburgh—the award honors his legacy as one of college football’s top offensive line coaches who sent over 50 players to professional careers.

The Foundation for Teamwork operates as a nonprofit focused on promoting teamwork across athletics and other fields.
