The Air Force men’s tennis team is scheduled to play against Navy and UC Irvine on March 13 and 14, with both matches taking place in Irvine, California.

These upcoming matches are important for the Falcons as they look to improve their current record of four wins and five losses. The match against Navy will be held at the Racquet Club of Irvine on Friday at 2 p.m. Pacific Time, while the contest with UC Irvine is set for Saturday at noon at Anteater Tennis Stadium. There will be no video stream or live statistics available for either match.

In their most recent outings two weekends ago, Air Force split a pair of matches. The Falcons secured a notable victory over #57 BYU with a score of 6-1 on February 28, marking their first win against the Cougars since 2014. They also faced Denver on March 1, where they lost by a score of 5-2.

Looking back at previous encounters, Air Force defeated Navy last year on February 15, 2025, during USTA MatchDay at the USTA Center in Orlando, Florida. In contrast, the last meeting with UC Irvine resulted in a loss for Air Force; they were defeated 6-0 by UCI on November 5, 2015, in Phoenix, Arizona.

This weekend’s trip to Irvine will also serve as a homecoming for senior AJ Moore, who is an Irvine native and graduated from Portola High School.

After these matches, Air Force will begin Mountain West conference play on Sunday, March 22 against San Diego State. The team is also scheduled to play UC San Diego on Monday, March 23.
